Clayton Mathewson provides services in Vancouver, Washington, where since 1988, he has provided invaluable help for those seeking to manage issues that prevent them from finding purpose and meaning in themselves and their interpersonal relationships. Working with couples, groups, and individuals, he guides peoples in identifying their core feelings and using these to promote a sense of well-being and vitality.  Clayton Mathewson’s nearly 25 years of experience has earned him a well-deserved reputation as a skilled consultant, and he continues to study new developments in relational depth psychology  to increase positive outcomes for those he consults with. Additionally, for nearly 20 years, Clayton Mathewson has facilitated various men’s  groups in Vancouver, and in 1999 wrote a book called A Theoretical Study of Masculine Archetypes: Embraced and Rejected in Children’s Cinema. A professional with a strong sense of social responsibility, Mr. Clayton Mathewson supports a number of causes, including the Washington State Firefighter Association, Goodwill Industries International, Inc., and groups that help the homeless in the Vancouver area. An involved community member and parent, Mr. Clayton Mathewson supports the Parent Teacher Association at his daughter’s elementary school.

When his schedule allows, Mr. Clayton Mathewson uses his free time for physical activities such as running, fly fishing, golfing, and bicycling. He belongs to bicycle advocacy alliance groups in Oregon and Washington in addition to a runner’s club in Vancouver. A devoted father and husband, Mr. Clayton Mathewson enjoys spending time with wife of 23 years and their three daughters.
